Pokedolls

Pokedolls are chibified versions of Pokemon in plush form. The precursor to pokedolls was released in 2001 under the name Plushplush (the literal translation of the Japanese name is "Plush of the Plush") . Plushplush were made of velveteen and had printed details with plastic eyes. After the Plushplush release, the designs were re-created with different fabrics and embroidered details, and then released under the name Pokedolls. They are generally 5 to 6 inches tall, although there are many exceptions to this (Oversized pokedolls, DX Pokedolls, Mini Pokedolls, etc).

This is my Pokedoll collection, sorted by generation. Each Pokedoll is listed with its name, condition (Mint With Tag [MWT], Mint with Detached tag, Tush Tag, or No Tags), along with the country and the year if possible. My goal is to collect a Pokedoll of every Pokemon ever released.

Generation 1
Kanto

Bulbasaur

Tush Tag, Japanese

2004

This was the last pokedoll that I received to finish my Kanto Starter trio! <3 I got him in a trade with pokabubu as commission for an inventory pickup from New York.

Venusaur

MWT, Japanese

2013

Venusaur was purchased from Gin on SunyShore shortly after its release. I like a lot of pokedolls that are "flat" looking, including Venusaur. Plus, look how awesome his colors are!

Charmander

MWT, American

2010

I bought this little guy at Nintendo World along with Squirtle.

Charizard

MWT, Japanese

2013

I purchased this pokedoll from Gin on SunyShore once Venusaur and Blastoise were released. I always thought that this Pokedoll was awesome, but I never fully appreciated the details until I got to see it in person. Charizard is really well made and has a lot of details for its small size!

Squirtle

MWT, American

2010

I bought Squirtle along with my Charmander as a buddy. Now they have a Bulbasaur in their group.

One day I will give this Pokedoll sunglasses, because the Squirtle Squad was one of the coolest things ever.

Blastoise

MWT, Japanese

2013

Blastoise was purchased from Gin on SunyShore when it was released. I love Blastoise's colors and his awesome back shell.

Butterfree

Tush Tag, American

2006

Butterfree is a pretty rare Pokedoll. One day I was browsing Ebay and saw it online. I recognized the seller as someone on LiveJournal, so I talked to her and we were able to work out a deal.~

Pikachu

MWT, American

2011

Pikachu is such a little cutie <3 I got this a while ago back at Nintendo World when I started getting back into Pokemon. Pikachu is the obvious choice for getting back into Pokemon, especially since he's my all-time favorite!

Raichu

MWT, Japanese

2012

When I heard about these being released, I freaked out a little. I love having evolutionary lines completed, so I wanted Raichu really badly! I ordered him through denkimouse on LJ and got him right away. <3

Slowpoke

MWT, Japanese

2012

Slowpoke was announced kind of as a surprise in Japan along with Raichu and Charizard. This little guy took me the longest to get, because he wasn't my top priority like Raichu, and eventually sold out before I had the chance to order him. I ended up winning him in a GA for a nice price. <3

Magikarp

MWT, Japanese

2009

Yes, Magikarp is a derpy fish that gets very little respect among Pokemon fans. And yes, he has one of the coolest evolutions ever to make up for it. But did you know that he also has an awesome Pokedoll? No, really! His Pokedoll is actually really awesome, especially in person!

Lapras

Tush Tag, American

2010

I bought this pokedoll from a ridiculously nice seller on LiveJournal (miniokami). Super fast and easy transaction, and Lapras arrived quickly in the mail~ The one downside is that Lapras is the queen of faceplanting.

Eevee

MWT, American

2007

A user on LJ was kind enough to split up a lot of eeveelution pokedolls and sell me Eevee. <3 Unfortunately I cannot remember the username, but I am ever so grateful that they gave me the chance to buy Eevee.

Vaporeon

Tush Tag, American

2007

This was a really lucky purchase from Sigiblue on LJ. I had been trying to track down a Vaporeon for months with no luck. One day, I was browsing LJ after work and went through all of the recent sales posts, and to my surprise- a Vaporeon pokedoll that hadn't been asked about yet! I bought it right away and the cutie arrived two days later.~

Jolteon

Tush Tag, American

2005

This was one of the first two pokedolls that I ever bought along with Flareon back when Nintendo World stored their Pokemon merch on the second floor. Jolteon is also the more loved of the two, and is one of the very few pieces of my childhood that I still have today after multiple moves and a house fire.

Flareon

Tush Tag, American

2005

Flareon is one of the first two Pokedolls that I ever bought along with Jolteon. I was around nine years old when I bought these, so I played with Jolteon more because he could shoot pin missiles at people, and Flareon was more of a display/cuddle toy because he could actually stand on his own.

Dragonite

Tush Tag, Japanese

2009

I bought Dragonite from chain28 on LJ. It arrived super fast, and is one of my favorite pokedolls. Look how chubby it is! LOOK HOW CUTE!

Mewtwo

MWT, Japanese

2013

When Mewtwo was announced, I was really excited. Finally, Mew had his brother..clone..thing. Yeah.

I ordered Mewtwo along with Shiny Genesect from SunyShore.~

Mew

Tush Tag, Japanese

2005

I bought this plush from Toda on LJ, one of my best buddies online. She sewed up a little hole that was in Mew's foot, but when I received Mew, the poor thing also had a hole in its neck that Toda hadn't noticed, so I repaired it. My first plush repair ever!

Generation 2
Johto

Chikorita

MWT, American

2010

I bought Chikorita and Totodile at Nintendo World after picking up Cyndaquil during my previous trip. I have an obsession with completed sets.

Cyndaquil

MWT, American

2010

I bought Cyndaquil along with Entei at Nintendo World during one of my trips over the summer. Typhlosion is my favorite starter of all time, so of course I had to buy Cyndaquil first.

Totodile

MWT, American

2010

I find Totodile's design kind of funny as a Pokedoll. I mean, just look at that silly mouth with those flimsy teeth. What a derpy little guy.

Noctowl

MWT, American

2007

Noctowl was a trade from Pokabubu on LJ. <3 I really love generation II as a whole, and Noctowl was my flying type back in Crystal, so he holds a special spot in my heart.

Pichu

Tush Tag, American

2007

This was one of the two Pokedolls that my boyfriend gave me when we first saw each other in person. <3 I really wanted this Pokedoll, so when I found out he bought it for me, I was really excited to receive it in the mail. Instead, he ended up holding onto it for a little while, and I got Pichu in person, which was way better! <3

Spiky-Eared Pichu
MWT, American
2010

A friend of mine was going to New York, and asked if I wanted anything from Nintendo World, since we are both Pokemon fanatics. I asked her to look for a Spiky-Eared Pichu for me since I had seen one in the summer and didn't have the chance to buy it, but I was almost positive it would be sold out. Lo and behold, she came into school the next week holding a gorgeous Pichu doll for me! She said she got there as one of the employees was tagging a new box of dolls they had just received, and she was able to get me a new one before a price tag was even stuck onto it! What an awesome friend!

Igglybuff

No Tags

I bid on this little guy on LJ, but was outbid rather quickly and gave up. A few months later, the seller contacted me and said that the person who outbid me never paid, and I was next in line for the Pokedoll, so I ended up buying it in the end.

Natu

MWT, Japanese

2002

I bought this pokedoll from sanndi on LJ. I honestly wasn't expecting ever finding a MWT one, so I was pretty surprised when she mentioned Natu having a hang tag. I bought it and Natu arrived just after I had finished taking photos for my 100th pokedoll post on LiveJournal.

Marill

Tush Tag, Japanese

2009

I love Marill because of how oval and fat it is. It is just so cute as a pokedoll! <3 They had been popping up multiple times on LJ for trade, but I had nothing to trade for them. Then finally someone posted one for sale at a reasonable price, and I finally got my Marill. <3

Aipom

Tush Tag, American

2007

I had been talking to polahbear on LJ, and one day they linked me to an auction for a cheap Aipom. I bid and ended up winning this cute doll that I had been after for a while at a pretty good price.

Wooper

Tush Tag, American

2006

After missing this guy for a good price, I went hunting. A few weeks later, a giant lot popped up, so I volunteered to GA it, and thus I got my little Wooper Pokedoll along with a few other items. :3

Espeon

Tush Tag, Japanese

2009

Espeon was a really lucky purchase from Ebay. The person had mislabeled Espeon and did not put "Pokedoll" in the listing itself, so I got very little competition for her. She has a faint stain on her ear that I plan on cleaning soon. <3

Umbreon

Tush Tag, American

2010

Umbreon was a very old Pokedoll I bought back in the day, possibly very close to when I bought Jolteon and Flareon. I think Umbreon's red eyes are pretty cool, especially in its Pokedoll design.

Wobbuffet

Tush Tag, Japanese

2009

My boyfriend got me Wobbuffet along with Manaphy as a Valentine's/Birthday gift in 2014. <3 I had seen Wobbuffet at Nintendo World, but wasn't too fond of the doll. Once I received Wobbuffet from my boyfriend in the mail however, I fell in love with its Japanese version; it's much fatter and the minky is more fitting than velboa in my opinion.

Teddiursa

Tush Tag, American

2007

Teddiursa was a Pokedoll that I wanted for a while, but could never bring myself to buy it for the $60+ prices I was seeing online. Then I finally found one for a great $20 that was tush tag only, which I was totally fine with. Teddiursa is such a cute Pokedoll. <3

Corsola

Tush Tag, American

2006

Originally, I was planning on buying this Corsola from chain28 on LJ, but then I saw the Dragonite pokedoll and bought it instead. Then, after I had received Dragonite, I noticed that no one had bought Corsola yet. Even though Corsola was in bad shape, I bought it planning on fixing it up once I received it. Since then, I have re-stuffed Corsola, but I still need to clean a few spots on her.

Corsola

Tush Tag, American

2002

This Corsola is a very special pokedoll. It has a paper tush tag, which is theorized to be the first version of Pokedolls to EVER be sold in the United States, back when Nintendo World used to be Pokemon Center NY!

Houndour

Tush Tag, American

2006

I won Houndour in a lot on Ebay along with other Pokemon plush I had no interest in. I got him for a great bargain though, and I was able to sell off the other plush~

Phanpy

Tush Tag, Japanese

2005

I bought this guy for a bargain on LJ, but he was extremely dirty and had an "N" written on his stomach in permanent marker. After spot cleaning him with soap, water, a toothbrush, and some nail polish remover, the various stains and the evil N have been vanquished~

Phanpy

Tush Tag, American

2002

So I generally don't keep duplicates of Pokedolls. So what gives? Well, this Phanpy Pokedoll isn't just any normal Pokedoll. This Phanpy has pretty noticeable design differences compared to my 2005 version, the most obvious being the thin paper tush tag rather than the loop. This is because this Phanpy was one of the very first Pokedolls to ever be released! After PlushPlush were made, Pokedolls were designed and brought into the US. These first Pokedolls in the US had paper tags, just like this little Phanpy here! Phanpy is one of the very first Pokedolls EVER to be sold in the US!

Phanpy (DX Version)

Tush Tag, Japanese

2005

What's with all the elephants?!

Deluxe (DX) Phanpy is one of the rarer and larger DX Pokedolls, measuring almost 16 inches tall (larger than my 1:1 plushies) and estimated to have about 200-500 made. They were given out as Daisuki Club prizes in Japan, and have become very rare over the years. Mine was a really lucky find on Yahoo!Japan one day. He was at a really low starting price and I started spazzing out because nobody had bid on him yet, but I didn't know his value. I bid a ton of money as my max for Phanpy, and ended up getting almost no competition and winning him for a decent price.

Elekid

MWT, American

2010

Elekid was one of those Pokedolls that I was on the fence about buying. Eventually, I decided to just buy one from Nintendo World. Elekid has a nice looking Pokedoll, too bad it's velboa..

Raikou

MWT, American

2010

So, Raikou was the last of the Beast Trio that I needed. He had been stocked once or twice at Nintendo World, but I kept arriving when he was sold out. Then finally, I showed up once day and there were four left in the store. Three went to an order with pokabubu, and the last one was for my collection.

Shiny Raikou

Tush Tag, Japanese

2010

Shiny Raikou, Entei, and Suicune were given out as lottery prizes in Japan. There were only an estimated 200-250 of each given out, and thus have become expensive and highly sought after collector's items.

I found my shiny Raikou for an amazing deal on a Japanese shopping site, which had marked him as tush tag only. When I opened the box, I was freaking out, because he had a hang tag! A good deal had turned into an AMAZING deal!

Entei

MWT, American

2010

I bought this guy along with Cyndaquil during one of my trips to Nintendo World. When I first walked in, I wasn't expecting to see a whole bunch of new rereleases, so I spazzed a little and couldn't decide what to get. In the end, I went with my two favorite fire types that were available.

Suicune

MWT, American

2010

Suicune was a purchase from Ebay. I had it on my watch list for possibly two months (the seller kept re-listing and getting more stock from the kiosks), and then one day I finally purchased it.

Larvitar (Plushplush)

MWT, Japanese

2001

So you might be wondering why this is on my page if it's a Plushplush and not a Pokedoll. The answer is because I can.

Larvitar was one of the Plushplush that never got a Pokedll version. Ballerbandgeek on LJ showed me a link to a MWT Larvitar on an obscure Japanese shopping site, but at the time I didn't have money. I saved up for almost a month, and at the same time, the price on Larvitar had been dropping, and I finally had the chance to order him. Best decision ever. <3

Lugia

MWT, American

2010

Also a purchase I got from Nintendo World, along with Ho-Oh, because it's a set and I have issues.

Shadow Lugia

MWT, American

2009

This pokedoll had been a huge want for a really long time. I was finally able to trade for one on LJ from chronidu. He's adorable and I have his design way more than the normal Lugia pokedoll!

Ho-Oh

MWT, American

2010

After I bought Ho-Oh, I spent the car ride playing HeartGold, because I have really fond memories between Lugia and Ho-Oh and the video games they were first introduced in.

Celebi

Tush Tag, Japanese

2005

I won this Pokedoll in a Group Auction on LJ from the same seller that I was buying a binder of cards from (nameless555 if I remember correctly?). It came with a really adorable drawing of Celebi holding Pokemon cards from the seller. ;.;

Generation 3
Hoenn

Treecko

MWT, American

2010

I bought this guy at Nintendo World over the summer along with Mudkip. Treeko tends to stand on his tail sometimes.

Sceptile

Tush Tag, Japanese

2004

Sceptile was a trade from pokabubu along with Altaria for commission. His reddish colors are more of a fruity pink, which I never noticed about Sceptile until I got the pokedoll.

Torchic

MWT, American

2010

I purchased Torchic during one of my many visits to Nintendo World over the summer. Isn't he just the cutest fire chick you've ever seen?

The pokedoll likes to faceplant a lot..

Blaziken

Tush Tag, American

2005

Blaziken was the first trade I got from pokabubu for a commission. He is an amazing pokedoll! Blaziken was also one of my first "rare" pokedolls that I ever owned, so he will always be very special.

Mudkip

MWT, American

2010

I bought Mudkip along with Treeko during one of my visits to Nintendo World. What bothers me about this re-release pokedoll is that it is velboa, but Treeko and Torchic are minky. Mudkip, why you gotta be different?

Swampert

Tush Tag, American

2005

I purchased Swampert off of LiveJournal. I already had Blaziken and I was waiting for Sceptile in the mail, so when this guy popped up for sale, I just had to buy him to complete the set.

Skitty

No Tags

Skitty was a quick (and cheap) purchase from LiveJournal. When I first received her, I looked around for any areas of her being re-stitched, because her belly seemed overstuffed. Either Skitty pokedolls are really fat, or whoever previously owned this was a master at repairing seams, but overstuffs their dolls.

Plusle

Tush Tag, Japanese

2003

It had been a few months since I had bought Minun, and every time I tried to get a Plusle, something would go wrong. Either I would just miss it on a sales post, or even one time I bought one on Ebay and the seller canceled the purchase because they said that Plusle had weird brown smelly stains on it and water damage that they didn't notice before (ew!). I was finally able to get a Plusle pokedoll from a Group Buy that I co-hosted with oovailoo on LiveJournal.

Minun

Tush Tag, Japanese

2005

Minun was a purchase on LiveJournal for pretty cheap ($8 if I remember correctly). I was expecting him to be in awful condition, but he's perfectly fine <3

Wailord

Tush Tag, American

2007

I saw Wailord one day on Ebay with an "Or Best Offer" option, so I sent an offer. The following day, I got a message from somebody on LJ. It turns out that they were the seller on Ebay, and offered me a discounted price!~

Spinda

Tush Tag, American

2006

Spinda was in a lot that included Weavile. It was also one of those Pokedolls that I had been looking for a while to buy, but was always too expensive. Spinda has three designs; I hope to have them all one day.

Altaria

Tush Tag, American

2005/2006 (Both dates are printed on the tush tag)

Altaria was a trade from Pokabubu along with Sceptile. I had always really wanted Altaria, but I had never seen it for sale before and knew that it was pretty pricey. It was a really funny coincidence that while I was waiting for my Altaria in the mail, somebody on LiveJournal asked me to middleman an Altaria on Ebay for them.

Absol

Tush Tag, American

2006

Absol is one of my all time favorite Pokemon. I won this Pokedoll on Ebay from someone who turned out to also be a member on PKMNCollectors, and I got him for a really good price too, which is always a plus.~

Metagross

MWT, American

2009

Metagross was a pickup from Epcott along with Latios and Latias. Everyone was freaking out over Metagross, but I didn't really understand why. At the time, I didn't realize how rare he was and how great it was that I got him for Epcot's store price plus a small commission for the user picking them up.

Latias

MWT, American

2010

Latias was a doll that somebody on LiveJournal picked up for me from Epcott, along with Latios and Metagross. Latias and Latios are two of my favorite legendaires, so I was really glad to get both Pokedolls.

Latios

MWT, American

2010

Latios was a doll that somebody on LiveJournal picked up for me from Epcott, along with Latios and Metagross. Latias and Latios are two of my favorite legendaires, so I was really glad to get both Pokedolls.

Kyogre

MWT, American

2007

Originally, I had purchased a re-relase of Kyogre from Nintendo World. Then about a week later, I got my Secret Valentine package in the mail, which included the 2007 Kyogre release. I sold my newer release and kept the Secret Valentine pokedoll, since it was a great gift, and also because the newer version had a weird blue tint to its whiter parts.

Groudon

MWT, American

2010

Groudon was a gift from pokabubu. <3 She knew I was looking for one and sent me one for free as a very kind gesture~

Oversized Groudon

No Tags

I had always wanted a big grumpy lobster, but didn't feel like spending $40+ on him. When I saw him listed for only $20 on LJ, I snatched him up right away. Big grumpy lobsters are surprisingly cuddly and cute.

Rayquaza

MWT, American

2008

I purchased Rayquaza from someone on LiveJournal. Rayquaza is one of the weirder pokedolls in my opinion because of its shape, and its little buck teeth.

Jirachi

Tush Tag, Japanese

2003

Jirachi was a trade from pokabubu on LiveJournal. She was looking for a toy hammock, and I had one I never really used, so we traded the hammock for Jirachi.

Deoxys

MWT, Japanese

2013

Nothing beats the original! (except maybe the Attack forme.)

I bought this Deoxys along with the others as a set from Gin on Sunyshore~

Deoxys (Attack)

MWT, Japanese

2013

This is my favorite Deoxys forme! <3 I think it's just the coolest in terms of its design.

I bought this Deoxys along with the others as a set from Gin on Sunyshore~

Deoxys (Defense)

MWT, Japanese

2013

Look at this tough guy! He is very unique compared to the rest of the Deoxys formes in my opinion. I like his weird flaps-as-arms.

I bought this Deoxys along with the others as a set from Gin on SunyShore~

Deoxys (Speed)

MWT, Japanese

2013

This was the main Deoxys that made me freak out a little and buy the entire set the moment I could. This was the first time that a Speed forme Deoxys was ever made into a Pokedoll, and I have a small obsession with completed sets, so I bought the entire set from Gin on SunyShore~

Generation 4
Sinnoh

Turtwig

MWT, American

2010

Turtwig was one of my many purchases at Nintendo World. I picked him because I thought I already had Chimchar and Piplup, but once I got home I realized that I didn't have either yet.

Chimchar

MWT, American

2010

When I went back to Nintendo World after picking up Turtwig, I got Chimchar. Unfortunately Piplup was already sold out. :(

Chimchar (DX Version)

Tush Tag, American

2010

I originally didn't want to collect any size Pokedolls other than the normal size, but one day I was at Nintendo World and noticed a Chimchar sitting on their back shelf behind the register, so I asked about it. The Chimchar had gotten its hang tag ripped off and a string on its foot had come loose, so they were selling it as damaged merchandise for cheaper, and it was their last one in stock. I felt bad, so I bought it.

Piplup

Tush Tag, Japanese

2006

Piplup took me over a year to find, when it's not even that rare! After missing it at Nintendo World, I waited months for it to show up for sale online. I missed multiples sales posts by being just too late when commenting, but finally got one when I noticed it filed under tyndamere's sales. :)

Shinx

No Tags

Shinx was a quick purchase along with Chatot from a user on LiveJournal. I wish I knew more about it, but unfortunately it has no tush tag.

Pachirisu

MWT, American

2010

Pachirisu had been recently stocked at Nintendo World during the summer, but it kept going out of stock really quickly. One day, I went to run some pickups, and Pachirisu was in stock. I picked one up for myself along with a Darkrai pokedoll.

Buizel

Tush Tag, American

2006

Buizel was a purchase from LiveJournal from dezchu. He was up for auction, and I was only planning on spending about $30 on him. However, people started trying to snipe me, so I got competitive over Buizel. Due to PKMNCollector's time extention rule on sniping, the auction for Buizel ended 15 minutes after the original end time because of all of the sniping. My grand total was now almost $70.. All for this silly little Buizel.

Buneary

Tush Tag, American

2007

Buneary was a purchase from Ebay. I was looking online for pokedolls and found a seller who was selling Buneary for really cheap, so I bought it and it came in the mail super fast.

Bonsly

Tush Tag, American

2007

This little guy was one of the two Pokedolls my boyfriend gave me when we first saw each other in person. <3 Don't cry little guy! It's a happy story!

Mime Jr.

Tush Tag, Japanese

2005

Pokabubu sent me a huge package with a bunch of pokedolls, including this Mime Jr. Although I don't like Mime Jr. much, his pokedoll is adorable.

Chatot

Tush Tag, American

2006

I purchased Chatot along with Shinx from tailglow on LiveJournal. It was my first non-Pikachu purchase from them.

Spiritomb

Tush Tag, Japanese

2007

Pokabubu sent me a large package one day with a bunch of Pokedolls. Spiritomb was one of them. I've always thought that Spiritomb was a really cool Pokedoll, but I could never find legit ones. I was really surprised when I opened my package and found Spiritomb sitting in there! <3

Munchlax

Tush Tag, Japanese

2005

Pokabubu sent me a large package one day with a bunch of Pokedolls. Munchlax was one of them. Every time I see Munchlax, I think of the movie Pokemon: Destiny Deoxys.~

Lucario

Tush Tag, American

2007

Lucario was my second purchase ever from Nintendo World when I was little, and my third ever Pokedoll. I chose Lucario because I was buying the Lucario and Mystery of Mew movie on DVD, and decided that I should get the pokedoll to match.

Craogunk

MWT, Japanese

????

Croagunk was offered to me by a seller on LJ, after he/she had looked at my wants list and noticed it. The funny thing is, I had asked the seller a week earlier about Croagunk and told them I would keep them in mind if I ever got the money. XD So when they replied to my wants list, I finally did have the money and got Croagunk <3

Mantyke

MWT, American

2006

Mantkye was a purchase from LiveJournal. He was pretty cheap, and I like getting MWT pokedolls, even if the tag is damaged like this poor guy's.

Snover

MWT, Japanese

2007

One of the many pokedolls that I have gotten from Pokabubu for a trade~

Weavile

Tush Tag, American

2005

Weavile was in a lot I bought along with Spinda. Although I'm not a fan of Generation IV in general, Weavile has a decent design, and a great Pokedoll. The colors are great in my opinion, and her crown thing looks absolutely awesome. :3

Lickylicky

Tush Tag, Japanese

2007

At this point, Polahbear had been helping me a lot to find pokedolls I was missing for cheap. One day, she linked me to baconscreation's sales post, with a Lickylicky. $10 later, I became the proud owner of this very strange Pokemon.

Togekiss
MWT, Korean
2009

Before you get excited and go "woah, a Korean pokedoll!", Korean Pokedolls are just the Japanese Pokedolls with stickers in Korean covering the back of the hang tags.

Togekiss was a pickup from cyritic, whom I had dealt with before for a few transactions. It was an awesome purchase, and Togekiss came in a little plastic bag that I decided to keep her in.

Leafeon

MWT, American

2010

Leafeon was a pickup hosted on LiveJournal from one of the kiosks in Washington. The seller told me that there was a long list for Leafeon and it might not be in stock, but luckily I just barely made the cut.~

Glaceon

MWT, Japanese

2008

Glaceon was one of my first purchases on LiveJournal. I was not cure at the time whether or not I would collect pokedolls, but Glaceon was really cute, and was made out of some weird fabric named minky that I knew nothing about at the time. When it arrived, I could not stop stroking the fabric. Minky is now one of my favorite fabrics ever.

Rotom

MWT, Japanese

2013

Rotom was purchased from Gin on SunyShore along with some of his other forms. I liked the Rotom pokedoll from before, but I never found it for sale. I was really glad that it was re-released along with all of the other forms.

Fan Rotom

MWT, Japanese

2013

Fan Rotom is one weird Pokedoll in my opinion. His shape is really unique. I wonder if this Pokedoll will be useful during the hot summer months...

Mow Rotom

MWT, Japanese

2013

This is my favorite Rotom form for the sole fact that it has such a mischievous smile. You better watch out, it might cut your lawn too short and run over your flower bed!

Oven Rotom

MWT, Japanese

2013

I got this Rotom in a partial trade with herar on LJ. Now I can enjoy baking fresh Pokemon-themed cookies with my Pokemon oven.

Dialga

MWT, American

2010

I bought Dialga from Nintendo World. I chose Dialga first over Palkia because I had played Diamond first back when the video games came out.

Palkia

MWT, American

2010

Palkia was one of my many purchases from Nintendo World. I don't like Palkia a whole lot, but of course I had to finish the set.

Regigigas

MWT, American

2010

Pokabubu sent me a large package with a bunch of pokedolls inside, including Regigigas. I had always wanted this Pokedoll, but never ended up buying one for myself from Nintendo World. Now I do have my own. :)

Giratina

MWT, American

2010

I don't remember entirely when I bought Giratina, but I do know that I bought him from Nintendo World and it must have been before I got back into collecting seriously. I had no idea that Giratina was a fairly rare Pokedoll until I started getting into collecting again and noticed that Giratina MWT was selling for around $50. Go figure!

Giratina Origin Forme

Tush Tag, Japanese

2008

I got Giratina Origin forme in a GA, after trying to get him for months. He's kind of a skinny American football shape. XD

Manaphy

No Tags

My boyfriend got me Manaphy along with Wobbuffet as a Valentine's/Birthday gift in 2014. <3 I had wanted Manaphy for a while, since it is one of the few Pokemon I like from Generation IV. I was really excited to receive one in the mail once I found out my boyfriend had bought me one! <3 She needs a little cleaning, but I don't mind giving my plush some TLC~

Darkrai

MWT, American

2010

I had wanted this pokedoll for a while, but I always found it online for either a really high price, or in really bad condition. Then, Nintendo World finally started stocking Darkrai, so I was able to go and buy one for myself.

Shaymin (Land)

MWT, American

2010

Another purchase from Nintendo World, this little guy has the cutest eyes. They just say, "won't you pick me up and play with my cuddly grass-fur?"

Shaymin (Sky)

MWT, American

2010

I bought Shaymin at Nintendo World. I thought his little red part was really adorable and that he looked really awesome compared to Landmin.

Arceus

MWT, Japanese

2009

This guy was a quick buy from a user on LiveJournal. At first I didn't realize he was MWT, since I had bought him because of his decent price. It was a very nice surprise when I later found out that he was a MWT Japanese doll!

Generation 5
Unova

Victini

MWT, American

2011

My older sister was in New York, and made a quick stop at Nintendo World for me. I had sent her photos of Christmas plushies, but I was unaware that they were Japanese-only. I also sent her a photo of Victini, which they did have, so she got him for me.

Snivy

MWT, Japanese

2010

Snivy was a surprise gift from Pokabubu. <3 He's such a snobby little pokedoll.

Serperior

MWT, American

2012

The is the most snobbish snake you will ever meet. He even refuses to look the camera in the eye.

For some reason I just really like Serperior's regal personality, which comes off in its Pokedoll with the "better than thou" head tilt. I guess that's why I decided to get Serperior first instead of the other starter evolutions.

I picked Tepig in my game though, if anyone was wondering.

Tepig

MWT, Japanese

2010

I ordered Tepig along with Oshawott and Genesect through Mikaela. Tepig is a weird little pokedoll.

Emboar

MWT, American

2012

The last Pokedoll I needed to get to finish the evololved starter trio for generation V. I don't like his Pokedoll design a whole lot, even though he is fat and cuddly. Stick to your game design, Emboar.

Oshawott

MWT, Japanese

2010

I ordered Oshawott along with Genesect and Tepig from pokabubu. He is a very cute little otter with big buggy eyes <3

Samurott

MWT, American

2012

Of course I can't buy Serperior without getting Samurott next! Don't you all realize that I have issues with incompleted sets?!

For some reason, I really like Samurott's design as a Pokedoll, even though I don't like it as much in-game. I am really weird about my collection.

Drillbur

Tush Tag, American

2011

Pokabubu sent me a big package one day with a bunch of pokedolls, including Drillbur. Drillbur is actually one of my favorite Generation 5 Pokemon, along with its evolution, so I'm glad that I finally have its Pokedoll.

Timburr

MWT, American

2011?

Timburr was sort of an impulsive buy from Nintendo World. I went when they had bad stock, so I told myself to pick something that I probably wouldn't buy otherwise.. So I went with Timburr.

Tympole

MWT, American

2011

I bought Tympole along with four other pokedolls for my birthday one year at Nintendo World. I don't like Tympole much, but I like Siesmitoad a lot, so does that count?

Throh

MWT, American

2011

I bought Throh along with four other pokedolls for my birthday one year at Nintendo World. How come Throh has his eyebrows but Sawk only has one?

Sawk

MWT, American

2011

I bought Sawk along with four other pokedolls at Nintendo World for my birthday one year. I always thought that Sawk had a weird design, because he only has one eyebrow... thing.

Cottonee

MWT, American

2011

I bought Cottonee along with four other pokedolls at Nintendo World during my birthday one year. Cottonee is silly; I always see photos online of the poor thing listed upside-down.

Whimsicott

Tush Tag, Japanese

2011

Whimsicott was a purchase from herar on LJ. Whimsicott was starting to get harder to find online, so I kept my eye out for a cheap one. Luckily, it was listed on PKMNCollectors for a great price, and I didn't have an issue finding it. :)

Scraggy

MWT, American

2011

Pokabubu sent me a big package one day, and Scraggy was included in the package. I find Scraggy quite adorable with his baggy pants, and he was on my team on my White version.

Zorua

Detached Hang Tag, American

2011

I bought Zorua and Zoroark at the Black and White Mall Tour when I was first getting back into collecting Pokemon. I loved Zorua in the movie I had just seen before going to the shop, so I bought its doll. Unfortunately the hang tag got caught under some stuff in my room and ripped off.

Zoroark

MWT, American

2011

I bought Zorua and Zoroark at the Black and White Mall Tour when I was first getting back into collecting Pokemon. Zoroark was my favorite Pokedoll at the time and is still one of my favorites. I really love its design as a pokedoll as well as its character design overall.

Gothita

MWT, American

2011

I bought Gothita along with other pokedolls at Nintendo World during my birthday one year. I had the money, so I bought 5 pokedolls at once- which was everything that I was currently missing from Nintendo World's pokedoll stock.

Ducklett

MWT, Japanese

2011

Pokabubu sent me Ducklett along with other pokedolls in a large package. I don't like Ducklett much, but its Pokedoll is very cute and fuzzy.

Foongus

MWT, American

2011

Polahbear on LJ had a Foongus for sale, and I wanted it but was really hesitant on buying one. She gave me a small discount, and I couldn't resist.

Fun fact: Foongus is the second shiny Pokemon I have ever found in-game. (The first one was a Shroomish)

Cobalion

MWT, American

2012

I bought Cobalion during one of my trips to Nintendo World to match my Virizion. Doesn't he have an adorable grumpy face?

Terrakion

MWT, American

2012

I bought Terrakion to finish the Muskdeers Trio. He's a short little Pokedoll that shares a grumpy expression with his brother Cobalion.

Virizion

MWT, Japanese

2012

Virizion was the first MWT Japanese pokedoll I ever bought. I purchased her from Gin on SunyShore.

Reshiram

MWT, American

2012

I did not like Reshiram's design at all until I got the Pokedoll from Nintendo World. Then I realized how cute and fluffy it looked.

Zekrom

MWT, American

2012

At first, I didn't like Zekrom a whole lot. Then when I got White version, I loved him. When I saw his Pokedoll at Nintendo World, I knew I had to buy him along with Reshiram because the Japanese versions were so pricey.

Black Kyurem

MWT, American

2012

After buying White Kyurem, next on my list was Black Kyurem. However, Nintendo World had a different idea; it was sold out for the next 4 months, and they weren't planning on making any more. I started freaking out, since every time I would show up at the store, it wouldn't be there on the shelves, and it would be rather expensive to buy online. While I was just about ready to order one online, somebody posted a stock update of NW on LJ, and there were Black Kyurems! Luckily my parents went to NY the next day and were able to pick one up for me. <3

White Kyurem

MWT, American

2012

I held off as long as possible on buying the Kyurem pokedolls, because they are overpriced at Nintendo World. Unfortunately, I knew if they sold out, it would be even worse, so I finally bought White Kyurem.

Keldeo

MWT, American

2012

I bought Keldeo from Nintendo World after debating over and over which Pokedoll should be #97 in my collection.

Keldeo Resolute Form

MWT, American

2012

I bought the Resolute form shortly after buying the normal form. Gotta have the matching sets! XD

Meloetta (Pirouette version)

MWT, American

2013

Meloetta is a very thin pokedoll. I was also looking for the Aria forme, but it was sold out from Nintendo World when I went to get them. Poor little Pirouette was alone, so I bought her.

Genesect

MWT, Japanese

2013

I actually got normal Genesect after the shiny version, because I like red more and ordered the normal version through a friend later. Normal Genesect is equally as floppy and fragile-feeling as the shiny version.

Shiny Genesect

MWT, Japanese

2013

I love shiny Pokemon, so when it was announced that shiny Genesect was going to have a Pokedoll, I was really happy. Finally, a shiny pokedoll I could actually afford! Unfortunately, Shiny Genesect has the normal tag rather than the shiny tag like the legendary beast trio, but that's okay, he's still red.

I bought him off of SunyShore along with Mewtwo.~

Generation 6
Kalos

Chespin

MWT, Japanese

2014

Although I thought Chespin had the strangest designs out of the three generation VI starters, I think he also looks the best as a Pokedoll. I don't know why, but he just looks the best chibified in my opinion.

Froakie

MWT, Japanese

2014

Froakie has big eyes that stare at you pleadingly. I'm not sure what he wants, though...

Fennekin

MWT, Japanese

2014

Fennekin is my all-time favorite starter from Generation VI. Once he was announced on the Nintendo Direct video, I couldn't wait for his pokedoll. Now he's here, in all of his fire-fennec glory! <3

Yveltal

MWT, Japanese

2014

I bought Yveltal along with the other Gen VI Pokedolls that came out at the same time from Pokabubu on LJ. Little bacon-cat is my favorite; he just begs for a hug, and he has neat vinyl details.

Xerneas

MWT, Japanese

2014

As one of the first Generation VI pokedolls released, I was freaking out over Xerneas and the others. Once I received it, I immediately fell in love with Xerneas' pokedoll design. The horns are amazing!

Other Pokedoll Merchandise

Pokedoll Notebook

2012?

When the Pokedoll stationery line was announced (along with pins), I really wanted the notebook and the Pikachu pin. Unfortunately the pins were blind-packaged and I got a Tepig, but I bought the notebook from a seller on LiveJournal and it came in absolutely perfect condition~

Pikachu Pokedoll Figure

2012

I bought this figure off of LJ just after the release. I really like how the figure just sits on top of a base in the shape of the Japanese pokedoll tags. :3

Espeon Pokedoll Figure

2013

After the wave of Eeveelution pokedoll figures was released, I really wanted them, but didn't want to pay the expensive prices. Luckily Pokemontrader on LJ offered me an Espeon at a good price, so at least I have one of the Eeveelutions.

Pokedoll House

2012?

Another purchase from herar, which I ordered along with my Whimsicott pokedoll. This Pokedoll House was a case containing a special set of mini Pokedolls. However, I was not really interested in the mini Pokedolls themselves, just the cardboard box that they came with.  Not wanting to pay the $100+ pricetag of the full set from Japan, I waited until I found herar selling just the box at a very reasonable price.

Pokedoll Charm Set

Pikachu, Dragonite, Eevee, and Oshawott

2013

When the pokedoll charm sets for 2013 were announced, I was really excited! I knew about Pokedoll charms, but they had been too rare and expensive for me to ever hunt down. Now I finally had my chance to own a set, so I got the set with Pikachu in it. :3

Pikachu Pokedoll Keychain Figure

????

I found this on Ebay for no bids and at a low starting price, so I bid and won. The funny thing was, I had found one on Y!J a few days before, but didn't want to buy it because of the deputy fees and international shipping. So I lucked out!

Pikachu Pokedoll Figure

????

This is found in a DP-era set which includes Bonsly, Lucario, Mew, and Mime Jr. I saw this for auction along with the others by Riolu on LJ, but at the time I did not have money to bid on them all, so I stuck with Pikachu and won.

As you can probably tell from the photo, Pikachu is a little dirty.

Pikachu Pokedoll Magnet

????

This magnet was for auction on LJ- so of course, I went after it and won. Anything that is Pokedoll and Pikachu merchandise, I am basically guaranteed to go after. XD

I love the color scheme on the background of this magnet <3
